I learned about Product Hunt from the incubator for indie developers I'm a part of. It's a popular choice among members for launching their products.

I found Product Hunt through a friend's recommendation a couple years ago when I was looking for feedback on my startup idea. The community of makers and early adopters seemed like a perfect fit. I've discovered so many useful products and connected with awesome entrepreneurs here. It's become a daily stop for tech inspiration!
New user here. I joined primarily to launch products and generate backlinks/traffic. But I find myself participating in the community more than I thought I would. It's inspiring to see all the creative new products in the works and read stories from makers of all kinds.

@karen_isbell I have the same feeling. We initially came for backlinks, as I heard that getting to the top of Product Hunt on launch day could bring in thousands of backlinks, a friend's new site got DA14 after getting #1 product of the day) later, I found that there are more valuable ideas to learn from here. So much to learn and watch 😄
