In the early days we tried to hire freelance developers - It was really time consuming to find the right people and there were issues with time zones, people being difficult to manage (wanting to be fully solo) but most importantly we lacked the 'team' feeling.

We ended up building an inhouse team, half through personal contacts the other half are from cord.co. I absolutely love working with them all - its doesn't feel so much like work but more like a group project which is a really nice atmosphere to have especially when the pressure is on!
