I think the first key part of coming up with new ideas for a SaaS product is having some problem to solve in the first place. The problem is the driver behind the solution. That's how we came up with the idea for our SaaS product. I own a Web Development Agency, and we noticed time and time again how wasteful our project management process was. Constantly communicating and interfacing with the client, jumping into meeting after meeting for feedback, just took so much time that we could have been using to develop instead, saving both our time and their money. So, we built mDash, our AI Project Management platform specific to web development. mDash takes in our clients' non technical project requests and automatically breaks them down into technical tasks which it assigns to the best suited developer for the task. Our clients can see in real time the progress on their project, and they can request revisions from the platform without having to directly contact anyone. We've made our product work internally incredibly well, and now we're in the process of preparing it for use from users outside of our own business. But, the only reason we have a SaaS product that we're preparing to debut to the public was because we had a problem to solve first.
