How do you deal with the insane amount of spam/AI-generated comments here?

One of my recent Discussion topics got bombarded by AI-generated comments from spam accounts They don't even bother hiding it: all accounts have 0-2 followers and are upvoting the exact same products in the exact same order This is so frustrating And you also realise that if you play fair, you not gonna make it - unless, you've already got some initial support or an audience to leverage

Yes, unfortunately, that problem exists. The developers periodically clean them up, but it's a Sisyphean task. Whenever I see them, I try to report.

Dealing with spam comments is like playing a never-ending game of whack-a-mole - exhausting but oddly satisfying when you slam that final pesky mole!

Oh, I really understand you, I received one comment with a dubious link, so I reported it. I think it can work if we help Product Hunt ourselves. And what about the launch day? I think we can do everything within our power. They may cheat to reach the top, but a good product with fair play will always earn loyal users in the end Best of luck🍀

I'm here since Monday, so not really an experienced user. What I've seen until now can be summarized in 2 ways: - Non english speaker using AI to create better comments - People that comment with AI only to not lose the badge of the day In any case, at least for me it's AI but I didn't see anything really spammy
