1. Create and distribute Infographics. In fact give Gifographics a shot. It will get you more links than standard articles. 2. Leverage the Broken Link strategy: Finding a blog page with a broken link and replacing the broken link with a link to similar content on your website. https://ahrefs.com/blog/broken-l... 3. Check competitors backlinks and then replicate your competitors' best links.

@dsarkar Thank you, Debajit. Heard a lot about broken link building, and even tried to do the outreach, but didn't get positive results unfortunately... Never heard of Gifographics, thanks for mentioning
Maybe a question you can answer @roberto_robles ?

1. Name things, develop concepts for the things you name. 2. Produce exceptional content about the things you name and conceptualize. 3. Distribute/amplify that content to your target audience or people or places you want to build links from. 4. Repeat 1-3. Better if what you name is relevant to your product/service offering and your customers' pain points. Beyond links, doing these give you two things: 1. It builds your brand (Conversational marketing? Drift; Subscription economy? Zuora. You get the geck?) 2. It unlocks new market opportunities (Drift wasn't the first website chat tool; Zuora wasn't the first in making subscriptions possible)

@kuzmanna, create the content with organic distribution (SEO in mind) use paid ads to force it onto your target readers' feeds. Cold email it (use sales navigator + pbatombuster) to find very targeted people. Personalize your outreach. Yes, people will love and read if your content is great.
Anna Kuzma
@victor_eduoh thank you. #1 and #2 are done. The question is about #3 actually...

I've executed link-building through podcast episodes. It works very well because I use the same keywords from the show name in episode titles repeatedly. That helped me dominate the keywords.

@antonovna Unfortunately, social media links are not very useful from the SEO standpoint.

First of all, links must be thematic and valuable. The time of the mass number of links will be irreversible. One link from a popular post is much more valuable.

@kuzmanna Nobody can be sure that Google has not marked your direct link exchange source as spam. In our opinion, buying links is always risky. This technique was used a few years ago. The links must be as natural as possible. As if users recommend your website for its high quality.
Anna Kuzma
@gamerseo thank you for your reply! How bad is direct link exchange considering it's from a valuable source?
