🧘 Mindfulness is a powerful tool for improving focus, reducing stress, and enhancing productivity.
⏳ But how do you incorporate mindfulness practices into your busy workday? Do you meditate during breaks, practice deep breathing, or use other techniques to stay present and focused?

On my busiest days, I rely on my Apple Watch alerts to remind me to stand up and take a moment to breathe. This helps me transform the moment into a mindfulness practice.
On more relaxed days, I make a conscious effort to take deep breaths for 5 minutes, 2 to 3 times during my work hours, to help me stay centered and focused.
I used to go out for a walk a short walk by morning and evening.
While walking I'll intentionally try to look around and notice all the beautiful things around and listen to all the sounds.
2 things really work for me.
1) I make sure to get out of the office for lunch. I rescue dogs and I don’t live far from my office, so going home and recharging with a house full of animals really makes a difference. You’re always greeted like a rock star, so it’s hard to not know you’re loved and depended on unconditionally.
2) later in the afternoon when I start feeling drained I take a quick walk. Sometimes I’ll call my son who is in college on the walk. The fresh air is a good recharge.
Life is too short, be sure to take time out for yourself. Those few minutes aren’t going to allow you to finish the project. I’ve found these “breaks” actually make me more productive.
During the course of my workday, I make it a point to stop and focus on my breathing for five minutes twice or three times.

Our company has a mid-week meditation every Wednesday at noon. Personally I like to start each online meeting with a collective stretch exercise or moment of meditation. it helps us rest while we wait for others to join.
Deep and slow breathing does wonders 🙌
I often mediate for 5-10 minutes, focusing on breathing deeply while clearing my thoughts of any worries or concerns from work/life.
