How do you keep to MVP on a solo project?

Minimum viable product, scope creep, bells & whistles, "polishing a turd". All phrases orbiting around the idea of "put it out when it's at a minimum threshold" or good-enough. On teams, there's a feeling of consensus that it's ready. On solo projects though, that barometer seems harder to calibrate. How do you all know when it's time to push *the button*?
