Christmas is coming, and the closer it gets, the fewer people think about work πŸ˜… How do engage with your community during this season? Do you just post more entertaining content? Have you started some Christmas content or giveaway? Would also be interesting to hear your experience from previous years πŸ€“

...and the closer it gets, more people think about gifts! But seriously, we have business customers who do Secret Santa/White elephant giveaways to their community using Goody. We're launching on PH today, would appreciate if you could check us out: https://www.producthunt.com/post...

Maybe don't engage? And give them and your community team a break?

@sonya_key_ Absolutely. It's an evergreen idea! Spread the love ❀️ every Christmas πŸŽ… even when you don't have any other plans to reach out to your community. Btw, I'm wondering if there are any nice tools to create one πŸ€”

Non-business stuff is what creates better engagement and relationships during the holiday season. One must focus on building relationships during the low days, which might help them get a lead in the future!

Isn't this amoral to intentionally try and pull people away from family and personal time? Shame on you.

There are many ways to keep your community engaged during the holiday season. Some ideas include: Hosting a holiday event or contest: This could be something as simple as a holiday-themed photo contest on social media, or a more elaborate in-person event at your physical location (if applicable). Offering holiday promotions or discounts: Consider offering special deals or discounts to your community members during the holiday season. This can be a great way to show appreciation and to encourage them to continue engaging with your business. Sharing holiday-themed content: Use your social media channels, email newsletters, and other forms of communication to share holiday-themed content with your community. This could be anything from recipes and DIY ideas to holiday-themed blog posts or videos. Engaging with your community on social media: The holiday season is a great time to connect with your community members on social media. Respond to their comments, share their content, and show them that you appreciate their engagement. Overall, the key is to keep things festive and fun, and to show your community members that you value their involvement and support.

Holiday time can be a time of increased competition, higher pricing, and a smaller profit margin. In order to keep your community engaged and help your community get a jump on their holiday shopping, we looked to Pinterest to uncover the biggest trends in clothing, jewelry, and accessories.

I find people like talking about casual things more for the Christmas, especially with the break coming on So I would usually comment about more non-business stuff. it seems to ramp up engagement
Sofia
@richard_gao2 True! Something less serious and more casual is what works best this time of the year in my opinion too.

Nothing is more appealing than FREE stuff and how FaceBook always does, a reminder of the shameful experience of my shirtless selfies like 10 years ago haha. Anyway, my point is just simply to give stuff for free and help them recollect their journey with you until that point in time. If the free stuff can somehow relate to those beautiful memories will be even more splendid!

Hosting/co-hosting Christmas giveaway campaigns with your partners is always a fantastic idea! We are currently participating in our partner's Advent Calendar campaign to give people a chance at raffles for bundled prizes that people want (and we don't have to do a ton of heavy lifting). Hope this helps!
