How do you manage your time?

Hey PH: what does your time management process or routine look like?
I'm the co-founder of a team building a new app that aims to help you better understand and optimize your time. It does this by "closing the feedback loop" on time management, giving you actionable, data-driven insights, and nudging you to improve the longer you use it. We launch on Product Hunt next Monday.
As such we've been doing tons of research into time management practices, and what we've found from that research is that time management is VERY personal. Everybody has a different relationship with time, and what works for some doesn't work for all.
So how does your process look? What's your weekly/monthly/etc routine surrounding managing your time and energy?

Managing time as a psychology student requires careful planning and prioritization. I find breaking tasks into smaller steps and using tools like the Pomodoro Technique helpful. When things get overwhelming, services like Psychology Assignment Helpprovide expert support, ensuring deadlines are met effectively. How do you handle your time management challenges?

I've found that batching similar tasks together, like answering emails or making calls during specific times of the day, helps me streamline my workflow and minimize distractions.

@jonathan_ander Makes tons of sense. There are always switching costs!
We built an app to help you focus on one thing at a time, and block out time like you're mentioning. Just launched today if you'd like to support! https://www.producthunt.com/post...

@matty_reed I try to batch the chores/manager work early in the day to align with most peoples schedules. Deep work sessions happen usually in the afternoons/late evenings.
Hey @jordan_dominguez! 😄 Your app sounds super interesting and definitely something I could use! My time management routine involves a mix of digital and analog tools. I use a combination of calendar apps for scheduling and a good old-fashioned planner for daily to-dos. Over time, I’ve learned that breaking tasks into smaller chunks and timing them helps me stay focused and productive. It's interesting how personal time management can be—what works for one might not for another! Looking forward to your launch on Monday, and can't wait to try out your app! 🚀✨
@jordan_dominguez Thanks Jordan 😊
TimeAlign
@abhra_ch Definitely agree re: breaking things down into small chunks and timing things.
I also think the mixture of digital and analog tools is pretty common. I do the same with daily task lists and brain dumps sometimes. We've designed TimeAlign to be flexible and incrementally adoptable so that you can use it to understand and optimize your time, but hopefully seamlessly integrate it with the rest of your setup. It'll be a big focus of ours moving forward product development-wise.
Thank you for the support! Excited for Monday :)
@jordan_dominguez Once again very very best of luck with your launch on Monday.
Also I am launching soon too. Would love your support as well mate

My mornings are for focused work, then emails and meetings in the afternoon. Weekends are for catching up on life.
I struggle to stay focused! Constantly getting pulled in different directions. An app that gives nudges and insights sounds like just what I need.
Totally agree, time management is personal! For me, it's all about to-do lists and scheduling blocks of time for specific tasks.
TimeAlign
@andrew_dale2 what tool do you use? I've been using Notion Calendar to schedule my tasks, but this is some basic functionality you can do with just about any calendar these days.
Time management is a constant battle! I'm always open to trying new things. Best of luck with your launch next Monday.

@eugenie_thompson Thank you, appreciate it!
And fully agree, I think that's another thing we discovered. People are willing to try new things, you just have to make it easy to get to the value quickly.
I make it a point to incorporate regular breaks and physical activity into my schedule to maintain energy levels and avoid burnout throughout the day.
TimeAlign
@leo_henry1 Makes sense! Those breaks are so crucial to sustainability and not burning out.
We just launched our time management app today that helps out with some of this, making time for the balance in your life.
Check out the launch and support if it interests you: https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Your app sounds interesting.. I am from human resource (HR) background. I usually manage my work by implementing a variety of strategic and operational practices aimed at optimizing the workforce, after that when I'm almost done with my work i prefer to use Product hunt and LinkedIn.
I manage my time by prioritizing tasks, using a schedule to stay organized, and setting aside specific times for different activities to be productive and balanced
You have an interesting concept!
I manage my time by prioritizing tasks and setting clear goals. At the start of each week, I outline my key objectives and break them down into daily tasks. I use a combination of tools such as calendars and task management apps to stay organized. Additionally, I allocate specific time blocks for focused work and minimize distractions during these periods. Regularly reviewing my progress helps me stay on track and make necessary adjustments. This approach ensures that I can efficiently balance my workload and meet deadlines.
hope this helps!

@ryujy2509 you sound like a time management master! Love that you review progress too. This is something missing from many people's time management process.
