@twoheads This is so apt. I don't do airbnb because I prefer hotels, mostly for their security and more assured experience. But beyond that, I did experience the pain of planning vacation - about 4 years ago.

I start by choosing a destination and seeing the best times to visit. I look for activities and attractions that fit my interests and budget.

It typically takes me a couple of weeks to finalize the details and ensure everything is well-organized.

Depends on the type of vacation. If we plan a chill and relax all inclusive, we search on some bigger travel agency websites. If we plan a longer vacation with kids, we book an airbnb and separate flights.

I usually plan trips 1-2 months in advance. For chill vacations I look for deals on Expedia or Kayak. For bigger family trips I shop around for flights and Airbnbs separately. I usually plan my vacations months in advance. I’m all about staying in high-end resorts and making sure every detail is perfect. It does take a while to get everything just right, but it’s worth it.

@azza_shahid Yeah, that was my first experience as well. First time taking a trip and I wanted an app or website where I could enter my budget and preferences and it just does the work for me.
