I think the Question is 10 Years too late to discuss ( :P ) SaaS has become more accessible to smaller businesses, which means it is also cheaper to end users. More founders are attempting to identify industry gaps in order to determine product-market fit. That means that a significant number of challenges have been addressed over the last ten years. SaaS has driven innovation in all industries; however, I would primarily focus on open source+community as the current drivers of the SaaS industry. I have been part of multiple early startups + done some consultations. Most of the founders I worked with had some of these characteristics: they were ambitious, charismatic, intuitive, persuasive, stubborn and most importantly, visionary. That means the sad reality is that 90% of founders believe they have the secret sauce, but they don't. This was to answer the second part, which is to focus on small things as a young startup. Get the PMF, then figure out how to scale and change the world.

@evan_paul 😆 Love the witty response! What do you think sets apart the 10% of founders who actually have the secret sauce? Is it their approach to problem-solving, their ability to adapt, or something else entirely? Actually, the question was supposed to be about AI. My bad! Anyway, love your perspective.

I don't think there will be a product on the market that isn't somehow infused with AI in ten years. Even at this early stage, it's relatively simple to integrate the technology, and it's only going to get easier and more robust.
