It's hard to say right now but one thing's for sure: people are looking for Twitter alternatives. Whether that's going to be Threads or something else is a different question.

It is just another hype.
Nothing. Just hype like another new social.
Similar as Clubhouse next 4months Threads will be hyped, and after that most of the users will churn.

More competition, better for consumers. The companies are big bois, they can handle the heat.
