I realize that software testing is all about finding bugs, but quality assurance is bigger it ensures that the whole process and product meet the necessary quality standards.

I see testing as more reactive, catching issues after they happen, while quality assurance feels more proactive, aiming to prevent those issues from the start.
I find that testing is usually about running specific cases to catch errors, but QA is about improving the entire workflow to prevent those errors in the first place.
From my experience, QA focuses on preventing errors, while testing is meant to catch any that slip through.
Software testing is about actively finding bugs while quality assurance (QA) focuses on ensuring that the process of software development itself meets certain standards
To me, QA feels like the strategy, while testing is one of the tools used to execute it.
Testing is part of QA but QA takes a broader approach. It involves setting up processes and procedures to make sure software development is efficient and free of errors.
