How has your Product Hunt experience been so far?

its overall good and appreciate the platform and the community efforts, but I felt following shortcoming that i think can be improved upon. 1. the listing on the launch day is not fair to product having less than 100 votes. Those products do not even come to the main screen because the main page is by default filtered by "featured" as opposed to "all" 2. my friends and new folks from LinkedIn could not vote, either their voting is removed or were made difficult to vote. for ex: new registration required to fill up profile before they can go and just vote. 3. "product review" is separate section than voting page. making it almost missed by people to add review. 4. Lack of correct persona. I am seeing lot of AI and B2C applications having lot more engagement than a niche platform services for data engineering or data scientist. I think product hunt don't have good mix of personas. 5. my listing, because it could not made to 100+ votes, it does not even show up in the "Launch Archive" along with other product which did not accumulate enough votes. (because they were never shown) 6. "Promoted" took a slot on launch voting, removing the next candidate. I just feel with limited space, the listing should not have included "promoted" to take up the space from the listings of the day. It could have been listed on side. I think product hunt needs "category" as we are going to continue to see influx of lightweight AI tools. I also noticed that sometimes you can see notification, but not the actual content on the page, it takes about minute or 2 to get all synced up - just a scaling or latency, technical issues
