Timing:
- Humane just got it's reviews over with
- Rabbit R1 was found to be an Android APK.
- MKBHD was in the news for killing startups with reviews
- People asking why aren't these AI wearables an app
All of this was happening as I posted a very nice picture of me wearing Tap, along with quote "Are you ready?" Within 5 minutes of my post, there was already memes of MKBHD with a camera.
Takeaway:
- AI wearables where on people's minds already.
- Memeability was perfect
- Tap being a app based wearable compared to competition.

That's interesting Max. Are you building the hardware of the device or the software for the device?

@maurizioisendoorn Software, found a market ready device for our version one, perfect for speeding up iteration, as we are already working on our own hardware for version 2.

@maxjacobs ahh understood! I saw on X that someone said that the exact same device already existed. But that's why haha. It's a good idea to just use a market ready device in the beginning. Following you on X now, I'll see any updates there! π₯
