The art of storytelling is incredibly important. It is superior to many important things, including product features. In fact, your storytelling, to some extent, leads the road of product. Do Valentine of Sequoia has a wonderful talk here about the importance of storytelling:
We obey to this rule rigidly when developing Vozo AI. For any core feature, story comes before the design.

A good story catches attention and makes people check out your features.

100% the narrative. If the story is not cohesive or broad.. it'll be difficult to get a true understanding of how it'll fit in with the workflow and life of your target ICP.

thats why with our current launch of inorbit.io we're specifically targeting project managers, program leaders and teams who work with external teams. Focusing our narrative on bridging the gap and saving countless hours in coordination and meetings.

I think both are important. A good product/ features with the good foundation on the story telling will be a strong support to able to sell it I suppose.

It's a beautiful dichotomy where you need both (a dope product and a supporting story). The thing I love about storytelling is that it is necessary even internally within the team - having a story about why the product matters boosts motivation, increases teammates' creativity and their thorough involvement

That's a super good question!! For a big product, academy and content marketing is must needed!! Cuz people can not understand a huge tool. For small tools, like AutoAE, what I launched today, it born for marketing. Cuz it's very simple and clear, when people see it, people know how to use it.

With so many products on the market, storytelling is one key aspect to try and get right. At the end of the day, we're competing for attention, and a good and genuine story does wonders in helping to rise above noise.

A great product story can be a game-changer. It's how you build a loyal fanbase. I'm always drawn to brands that have a strong story to tell.

We all love a good story, right? It's what makes a product memorable. I'm definitely more likely to buy something if there's a compelling narrative behind it.

The story shines more than the product. Not taking names but a leading phone manufacturer sells the phone and the story better, than actually putting some game-changing feature(s) in the phone. Another example is Nike. At the core, they sell shoes, t-shirts, etc. But the perception they've created - "Athletics means Nike". They promote athleticism and in that process have garnered a global audience. No matter if other manufacturers provide better quality, comfort, etc. But then again, a great product only intensifies the story. I'd like to put it this way - "Every product has flaws, a great story can turn it into a feature or cover it up effortlessly. It's a perfect mix, but if not together, both die..."

No matter what your product or service is, make a story out of nothing! You should be able to attract your target audience and more important retain your users with a story you are creating.

while product features are important, I believe storytelling makes a big difference. It can make the product stand out and be more memorable to potential customers.

Storytelling is key because it helps explain the product in a way that resonates with people. It can turn a simple feature list into a compelling reason for someone to choose your product.
