3 years.
ours is exclusive tech based product, we had to build and test compatibility to serve the modern messaging app features, lot of setbacks, learnings, lots of changes in architecture, so it took me 3 years(40 hour weeks) before it is finally published on app stores.
Hey there! Gurkaran here, fellow tech enthusiast and serial tinkerer. When it comes to how long I've worked on a product before launch, let's just say I've experienced the full spectrum—ranging from quick turnarounds to marathon development cycles.
In my opinion, the "normal" amount of time for product development really depends on various factors like complexity, resources, and market demand. Sometimes you need to strike while the iron is hot, and other times you need to meticulously craft every line of code.
Regardless of the timeline, the most important thing is ensuring that the product meets the needs of the end users. So, whether it's a sprint or a marathon, the finish line is always delivering value to your customers. Happy coding and creating!
