Others only change when their smartphone gets broken. This saves money, and also limits the environmental impact.

I change my phone when it breaks)
I believe that people spend too much time on their phones these days, which is only needed to make a call and find information quickly, not to live on the phone and one day realize that life is ending. Unfortunately, I believe that this is our problem and our children's

I am using iPhone 7, so I think it is more than 5 years old. And still working!
Many of my friends buy a new phone for themselves every year, as they quickly make it unusable due to the fact that they treat it carelessly. In order to prolong the life of my phone, I usually use a few tips that I read on Asurion reviews and find them quite effective since I have had my phone for over 5 years and I'm not going to buy myself a new one yet. One good way is not to drain it completely and only charge it to 85%.
I usually buy older apple models when new ones come out. My iPhone 11 is only 6 months, and beforehand I had an iPhone 7 plus that lasted almost 5 years!
Mine is Iphone 6s, since 2017 :)
Still using my iPhone XR from 2018. It's been almost 4 years now.
I'm part of the second population, I'm not going to change my phone for a few more pixels.
Mine is a Huawei P30 Pro. It's 3 years old, it was high-end at that time, and I really love its camera. Won't change till it brakes.
My iPhone is the 11 Plus and I believe they are now on the 14. I upgrade every couple of years.

looks like others are right there with me, no need to keep upgrading until it's broken or you actually need to lol
I dont really change until they break or start slowing down, at least over the last decade
Mine is an iPhone 11. It's 3 years old and works fine. I usually don't change phones unless and until it breaks or gets slow. I believe investing in other things (maybe other useful gadgets or something else!) is a way better option than buying a new phone every year.

I am still using the iPhone X, 256GB. I mainly use it for texting and watching quick videos. It is about 4 years old now but I feel that everything is working fine. Waiting for it to spoil so that I have an excuse to upgrade!
