How remote team can stay synced without tools like Jira, Trello and so?

Hey all,
Is there any other tools or approach on how to stay synced without any task management tools like Trello or Jira.
The thing is that we use them for tracking big milestones, but when it comes to marketing and business growth, there are lots of things we add and change sometimes on a daily basis, so we spend more time on filling things in the tools than the actual actions.

Jira and Trello are both popular PM platforms, but they cater to different needs and have distinct strengths.
