How should the education system evolve and change, and what innovations should be implemented to adapt to future skills and needs?
I always think about it. Everything has changed since the past, such as cars, communication tools, etc.
But school systems are almost the same.
What are your thoughts on this topic?"

Education is pointless, unless you just have time to kill
@huseyin_kara Sure that's what we want to believe. But we can't predict the future can we? If you apply first principles to this question and break the doctor role into small modules, there is no aspect that won't be disrupted by AI and robotics. If there is, try to find one. The future of healthcare is going to be big corps with fancy branding competing for the most affordable services and medications, available on any highstreet or per post order. This is great for the consumer. the closes thing to a doctor will be the very pleasant Helpdesk assistant signing you in and making you comfortable. And I dont think this is bad. It's going to be very affordable and high quality.
@huseyin_kara Doctors won't exist soon. Doctors perform very repetitive tasks. Which are very easy to disrupt with AI + Robotics.
@eonpilot
while AI and robotics may have an impact on certain aspects of healthcare, the role of doctors is multifaceted and encompasses skills and qualities that are difficult to replicate.
Instead of replacing doctors, AI and robotics have the potential to augment their capabilities. They can assist in tasks like data analysis, diagnosis support, and repetitive procedures, enabling doctors to focus more on patient care, research, and complex decision-making.
In today's rapidly evolving world, it is crucial for educational institutions to stay attuned to the dynamic demands of the job market and technological advancements.
To address this challenge, education should embrace a multifaceted approach that integrates both traditional and contemporary methodologies. Firstly, fostering a curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity will empower students to navigate the complexities of the future workforce. Additionally, incorporating emerging technologies and digital literacy into the educational framework will equip students with the skills necessary for success in the digital age.

I think that we can't tell how AI will iimpact technology, society, economy and many other fields yet so it's also difficult to foresee how education (=preparing people for the future) should change. We'll get to know much more about it in the next couple of years. Still, it's almoat certain that AI will change education for good.
@thekat I completely agree with your perspective. The impact of AI on technology, society, and the economy is still unfolding, making it challenging to predict how education should adapt to prepare people for the future. As we gather more information and insights in the coming years, we will have a clearer understanding of how AI will shape education. However, it is highly likely that AI will bring about significant positive changes in the field of education. It has the potential to enhance personalized learning, provide access to resources and information on a global scale, and foster innovative teaching methods. It will be exciting to see how AI transforms education and equips individuals with the necessary skills for the evolving world.
Most of the time, people think education is "paid" but it's totally free, it just means learning from someone or from experience.
So, for education to adapt to future skills and needs is not just using innovative tools (AI) knowing one's talent, hyper-aware on systems, policies, and social needs and problems are skills needs to be enhanced on younger generation.
@carmela_padasas
Yes, education is often perceived as a paid service, but it is actually a lifelong learning process. Education goes beyond formal schooling and encompasses learning from various sources and experiences throughout life.
Adapting education to future skills and needs is indeed important. It involves not only utilizing innovative tools like AI but also developing skills such as self-awareness, understanding systems, policies, and social needs and problems, especially in younger generations.
Education should not only focus on imparting knowledge but also on fostering skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. These universal skills are essential for individuals to thrive in a changing world and meet future demands.
Education systems should go beyond delivering academic content and embrace an approach that empowers individuals and helps them realize their potential. By doing so, the younger generation can acquire the knowledge, skills, and understanding necessary to adapt to future skill requirements and contribute to building a more sustainable and equitable society.
I completely agree with you. The Education system needs to evolve and adapt to meet the changing skills and needs of the future. Incorporating more practical, hands-on learning experiences, promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and integrating technology into classrooms are some innovations that could make a significant difference. Additionally, fostering creativity, collaboration, and lifelong learning should be emphasized. It's essential to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the modern world.

While traditional school systems have provided a foundation of knowledge for generations, there is a growing recognition that they need to adapt to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of the future.
The future demands individuals who can think critically, analyze information, and solve complex problems.
