Hi I am looking for a creative way to ask people to answer a short survey regarding their experience with our software, any tips on what to write/do/offer to get more responses?

NPS is a standard framework for feedback. You can use a tool like SatisMeter to structure your data collection.

If they're paying for your software, maybe offer them a free month or offer them a free trial of a more advanced tier. Keep the message short, to the point but conversational as well.
