Our iOS task management app Finale To Do needs to have an online presence outside of the App Store. And so does your product, if you'd like to scale and get notices. Website, help center, press kit, community, API server, all of these are essential for promoting a digital product online. At first such a list of services might sound overwhelming, but in reality it is much simpler than it looks. Here is a break down of each service one by one that we are actively using to support Finale To Do, and so could you. Website: https://finaletodo.com Wix.com. Nowadays building a site from scratch is as easy as ever. I've been using Wix for all my projects, and this one is no exception. Their website builder allows plenty of drag-drop functionality if you'd like to quickly prototype, and full JS support if you are the tinkering kind and want to go into the weeds (I definitely do). Help Center: https://help.finaletodo.com Notion.so + Super.so. This combo was surprising at first, but it is actually a complete package to build a good looking help center. Notion provides the versatility to create any structure you'd like, while Super wraps it into a web form with pretty UI and themes. Now, adding articles to the Help Center is as simple as just creating a new Notion page. Press Kit: https://finaletodo.com/press ImpressKit.net. Simple to use and highly versatile web service to host iOS app's press kits online. ImpressKit provides a premade template where you can fill any information about the app, provides suggestions on formatting, and even showcases useful media contacts to distribute your press kit. Overall, its the best tiny package for hosting app press kits online. Community: https://reddit.com/r/FinaleToDo Reddit.com. Gone are the days of hosting your own forum. I am sure I don't need to explain the benefits or Reddit. Reddit is a great way to interact with users, gather feedback, bug reports, and feature suggestions. Whereas twitter is sometimes API Server: https://api.finaletodo.com Render.com + GitHub.com. At the scale of Finale To Do, a simple hosting service is enough to provide API access to all users. Our API is built on python and pushed to a private GitHub repo. Render automatically deploys the latest commits from the repo's production branch, so new API versions are released with every pull request.
