How to gather more people for your waitlist

Hey folks I'm building a new generation music app that lets its users earn rewards for listening to the music. The problem is folks keep asking about the business model but are not that enthusiastic about joining the community or interact with music. Would be glad if people could give me more lessons about building in public.
