How to keep going if there's a decline in demand?

Say you're a solo builder and you run a project and you've seen it grow but at some point, you see the interest in your product drop. You may start exploring ways to overcome it, but you can't avoid asking yourself: does the world really need my product? Maybe I should just give it up?.. So, it's hard to find motivation and get through the low period.
