I think the key is to try and be consistent and enjoy the journey, so there's less need to stay motivated 👍

* Make sure you set achievable goals * Celebrate small victories * Be part of a vibrant and supportive community * Pivot or move on to something else if what you're currently working on hasn't succeeded despite all your attempts

When distractions occur, see it as that. Many times we confuse something that disrupts our momentum with lack of motivation. We can all get distracted and off the path. It takes a lot of intention to stay focused and weather the storms of life!

As a fellow builder, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to stay motivated on a long journey. One of the things that has helped me is setting clear goals for myself. When you have specific, measurable goals to work towards, it can give you a sense of direction and purpose, and help you stay motivated. Another thing I've found helpful is celebrating small wins. Sometimes the journey to building a successful startup can feel never-ending, so it's important to recognize and celebrate the small victories along the way. It can be something as simple as getting positive feedback from a customer, or hitting a smaller milestone on the way to your bigger goals. Lastly, I would say it's important to have a support system. Building a startup can be lonely at times, so having people in your corner who believe in you and your vision can be incredibly motivating. Whether it's a co-founder, mentor, or just a group of fellow builders, having people to bounce ideas off of and share the ups and downs of the journey with can make all the difference in staying motivated.
Breaking down bigger task into smaller once so they will be easily managed and celebrating every milestone we reach :)

Love the process!! You should be passionate about what you are building. You should not prioritize results.

The problem that your construction is meant to tackle as well as the construction itself. Never put your faith in what you are creating. The majority of people have trouble staying motivated, but having mental health conditions like depression or anxiety makes it considerably harder. Here are a few pieces of advice: Establish one clear, attainable objective for yourself. Consider how you can accomplish that objective in your life and what steps you need to take. then give it a deadline (such as one week or one month). Set recurring reminders to finish each stage in your goal by breaking it up into small, manageable activities. Tell your loved ones about your aspirations and ask them to support you by helping you stay motivated.

Add a partner, co-founder or if possible a junior employee. They will become the reason of you standing tough.

Set achievable goals Set goals that you'd be able to stick to even on your worst days is my main motto

I'd say, getting in love with two things. The problem you are building for and the building process. Never what you are building. But the process and the problem are really a must, because a lot of hard times will come from that.

You can't be a good builder if you don't have passion for your work and a vivid imagination. It's a perfect fit.

Passion for what you are building is really important. If you have fun at your work then you won't need to think about how to motivate for a long journey. As a builder you have to be in love with what you are building and be a strong dreamer!

Celebrate small wins along the way! Acknowledge and reward yourself for progress made, no matter how small. It can provide the motivation needed to keep going.
