How to List Installed Yum or RPM Packages on CentOS

I'm trying to list all the installed packages on my CentOS system using yum or rpm, but I'm not sure which command to use or how to format the output properly. I need a list of all installed packages, ideally with the version numbers. I've tried running some commands like yum list installed, but I’m not getting the result I expected or it seems incomplete. Also, I'm not sure how to export this list to a file for future reference. Can anyone help me with the correct commands to use, and maybe a way to export the output to a text file? Thanks!
