On August 28th we managed to get on the front page of Hackernews: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=37281411 Here is how we did it: - We worked on communicating our product message on other platforms like Reddit. With each post on Reddit, we improved the message making it easier to understand. - We launched at 9 am EST on a Sunday. People have more time to read and there is less competition from other posts. - We pointed directly to the Github page at https://github.com/exogee-technology/graphweaver and not the website https://graphweaver.com - We used the "Show HN:" feature. - We did not upvote ourselves. This last point is crucial, we did not try to game the system or get friends to upvote. If your message is clear and people care about what you are delivering, they will upvote. Hopefully these tips will help the you when you next promote on Hackernews! Any questions? Please ask and I will try my best to answer them! Good Luck!
