How would you structure a private beta landing page to collect initial user interest via email? Why tools/softwares would you use to do so?

Personally I'd throw something quickly together in Framer with a formspark.io integration for sign-up/registration just to collect the emails. There are a lot of nice templates to use if you don't want to start from scratch. But I'm sure there are many other nice, even simpler, tools for this.

Great question @filippo_pietrantonio! Coming from a background in beta testing, there is a lot that goes into sign up pages. It can vary depending on how notable your brand is, what kind of product you are working on, and who your market is. Here are some basic tips though: - Know your audience and communicate with them directly. Messaging that resonates with them is really useful. It's useful to describe who your beta test is for. Not only does this tailor the sign up to the people you want to join, but it states who may not be ideal. - Include the benefits of being a beta tester! This is often things like exclusive access to new tech/features, a voice in the product's development, and can go as far as highlighting rewards. - Indicate a potential timeline of when you would expect them to test. I know this is tough sometimes, but broad ranges could be helpful. Nothing worse than getting people who won't participate because your timeline doesn't align with their availability. - Outline your expectations for being a beta tester. Being clear and upfront about what it takes to participate or what you will expect them to do is a great way to get solid candidates. As far as tools go: www.centercode.com, is a free tool for running beta tests that includes signup pages that are included in the same platform you would collect feedback from and provide activities for testers. Less friction than building a random landing page using another tool and connecting it to various systems. Good luck with your upcoming test!
