My SOP: Take a sleeping pill and have a good sleep, wake up and do exercise for 1-2 hours, shower, have great breakfast & coffee, send genuine compliments to people around you. Turnaround in 12 hours. Works everytime.

Listening to feelings. Trying to understand the causes of them and what can be done. Planning. Being with close ones and seeking for support. Walking or exercising. Reading: some self-help psychology books can be very supporting and nourishing. If it's not getting better, seeking for professional help.

1/ Do exercise, both cardio and strength training, I find that cardio quickly adjusts the emotional state. In addition I will include some traditional programs in my training, such as Tai Chi and standing stakes. 2/ Perform mental exercises, mainly breathing exercises, some breathing rhythms can effectively relieve poor mood and inject new energy into the body. 3/ Spend time with family and friends, have some good food and drink. If you are already in a bad mood, why not do something that makes you happy, engaging in these things with family and friends can be effective in avoiding over intake and addiction.

Accept the feelings of depression, allowing myself the space to process them firstly. Then, I will give some time for myself to engage in enjoyable activities, such as reading, walking dogs and so on to bring comfort.

When feeling depressed, I adjust by engaging in physical activity, such as a short walk or yoga, to boost my mood through endorphin release. Additionally, I practice mindfulness techniques like meditation to help manage my thoughts and promote emotional well-being

Take some time to be alone, rest without any pressure, and do whatever exercise feels manageable. Btw, recently, I found that I can use ChatGPT to help me dive deeper into understanding the root causes of my depressive feelings and the academic theories behind them. It also gives me more tailored suggestions for adjusting. Honestly, it’s starting to feel like my personal mental health coach ^^
