I am learning to develop multiplayer online games using JavaScript, and recently I found an open-source project that was released over a decade ago. Some people might be have hear of. It's called Rumpetroll. In this game, players take on the role of little tadpoles and can move around using the mouse or keyboard, as well as chat using text. Moving around and chatting with text are the only features it has, which can be quite boring, but the animation of the tadpoles' movement is very smooth. https://www.producthunt.com/products/the-souls-land Until I added eyes to the tadpoles, they look a bit cute. but it was still boring. Then I went on to add some skins to them, but you need to reach a specific location to change them, for example, using the command tp:199610,199610. for now, a little bit funny , but still boring right? So I added new commands, like drop:⚽️. You can use the drop command to put some text on the ground, including emoji. Some special emoji even have special effects, like 🏀, 💣, 🎆. Well, it looked cool, but after experiencing it, it became boring again. Because it is a multiplayer game, I thought about incorporating some collaborative content. In the end, I added the command drop:🎵C3,D4, allowing people to collaborate in creating MIDI music. However, it has proven to be a bit challenging, as not everyone understands the meaning of C3, D4, and so on. I don't know whether to continue investing time and effort into this product, and I would like to hear what others think about it.

I think it's okay to stick with it, the experience you gain while building is rare, and I love the cute characters

Consider seeking feedback to understand potential areas of improvement. Iteration and user input can often uncover ways to enhance value or identify new directions for your creation.

Hi, i don't think there is a reason to stop doing it if you enjoy it. After all you are gaining experience in the process and you will have some cool cases to show your skills

@napstablup thank you for your reply. I really enjoy creating some cool web experiences. but if it is not of value to others, then I have to stop it, and find next valuable things to do.
