What I noticed recently is that number of Ads in the search result of google has increased a lot in the recent years. I ask people who are not in the software era, on their approach in googling, and I noticed many people don't know the difference, and some don't care, which was surprising to me.
I think that some basic SEO considerations on any website is necessary, what I am not confident is if the more time we spend on SEO worths the gain, in compare to just buying some Ads on google.
We are not there yet, so I would love to hear about your experience in this area.

I believe it's definitely worth the gain, but, seo takes time and consistency.
I also don't think it's seo vs google ads.
Google ads and other paid ads are costing more and returning less value and this will just continue because more people are using add blockers, more browers are blocking tracking cookies by default, legislation like GDPR and even Google themselves are about to block third party tracking cookies.
Unless you're in a niche with no competition, then paid ads are cheap and easy....but then again, the seo there is also easy.
I'd focus on SEO, community building, referral marketing & partnerships. Partnerships are the multiplier to almost all your other marketing efforts.

@sven_radavics Thank you Sven. I read your response several times, many valuable points. You got me thinking!
When it comes to SEO improvements vs Google Ads, the main difference is that SEO is a long-term strategy while Google Ads is a short-term solution. SEO can take weeks or months to achieve results, while Google Ads can provide results within a few days.
SEO is a great way to improve a website's visibility and ranking organically, while Google Ads can be used as a supplement to SEO efforts. Google Ads can be used to target specific keywords and phrases, which can help to boost a website's visibility in the SERP.
When deciding between SEO improvements vs Google Ads, it is important to consider the goals of the website and the budget available. SEO is typically the best option for those looking to achieve long-term success, while Google Ads may be a good choice for those looking for a quick boost in visibility.
