Hey Everyone! Lately, I’ve been thinking about developing microSaaS projects, and I could really use your insights. I have a few questions and your experiences would be incredibly valuable. First off, do you think microSaaS really provides targeted solutions that meet user needs? Are these small, niche solutions more practical compared to large software packages? What about costs? Is the lower price point of microSaaS appealing for small businesses and startups? Do you think these kinds of solutions can compete in the market? How important do you find ease of use? When developing a microSaaS project, how critical is it for users to be able to quickly set up and start using the service? Additionally, what are the advantages of a microSaaS that can quickly adapt to user feedback and provide frequent updates? Is this a significant factor for users? Your answers to these questions will greatly help me shape my microSaaS projects. I’m eagerly looking forward to your thoughts!

Never really built a microSaaS, but something like https://robwalling.com/2015/03/2... is a great starting point. Think micro where it's already integrated into a platform with built in distribution like a Shopify add-on to solve a specific customer need. It can be small because Shopify is doing the heavy lifting but you might just make a useful tool. Price, ease of use and frequency of updates really depends on the problem you are solving and for who. - If you're making it easier for hedge funds to do an annoying piece of reporting which would normally take two hours and instead with your tool, which has a rough UI takes one hour - you could charge a fortune and never update the software. - If you are instead selling a Shopify plugin for reporting carbon use in the supply chain for small surf gear shops, your price point will be much lower, ease of use requirements will be much higher and you will probably need to update the tool quite frequently.
