I launched on PH and I failed. Here’s what I learned from that.

This week, I launched my first product, Qosho, for validation (you can find it on my page).
It didn’t go as expected. Here’s what I learned:
1. Don’t Launch on Tuesday or Wednesday unless you have a solid network to promote your product. Weekends work much better for traction.
2. Keep your landing page concise. No one wants to fill out surveys – they want to see the product in action.
3. Show the value upfront. Users don’t have time to dig; make sure they know exactly what your product does and how it helps.
4. Reddit is an underrated gem. It’s an awesome community for spreading the word about your launch.
5. Engage in discussions on Product Hunt. It’s a simple way to drive traffic and build awareness.
Failure? Maybe. Valuable lessons? Definitely.

Upvoted Qosho ✅.
A lot of Reddits are really annoying about letting you post articles there, even if you only barely mention your product.

@toby_rowland Agree! My account was banned before I even started posting any discussion about the product.
We're launching next week and this is so helpful, thank you Pierfrancesco!

"Thanks for sharing your experience, Pierfrancesco! Launching a product is a tough journey, and it's great to see you reflecting on what you've learned. I completely agree about the timing—weekends can definitely give a launch more visibility. Keeping the landing page clear and focusing on value upfront is so important too. Also, I love that you highlighted Reddit and engaging with the Product Hunt community—those are often overlooked but can be powerful tools. It’s all part of the learning process, and I’m sure your next launch will be even more successful with these insights. Good luck!"
