Hey 👋, it's Ayoub.
I'm a serial digital entrepreneur who has been building and bootstrapping internet products since 2012, focusing mainly on SaaS, microSaaS, and iOS mobile apps.
I've created a dozen products 🚀, sold a few 💰, and learned from many failures 📖.
Join me for an Ask Me Anything (AMA) discussion. Let's dive deep into any related topics, thoughts, and everything in between.

Hi Ayoub, it's great to connect with you here.
Are you primarily focused on building and selling products, or do you maintain a service-based role working on client's project to ensure liquidity to bootstrap an ongoing product when needed?

@abdellah_abbous Hello Abdellah, hope you're doing well. started by doing both, once I got the needed liquidity to bootstrap my own products I ditched all the clients' work and focused completely on my projects. So the idea here is wherever you need liquidity to bootstrap you may do some client work and projects instead of looking for funding and investments from investors and VCs.
Hey Ayoub, your journey in the digital entrepreneurship world sounds like a rollercoaster of valuable experiences! From creating products to learning from failures, your AMA must be a treasure trove of insights for aspiring entrepreneurs. Looking forward to diving deep into the world of SaaS, microSaaS, and iOS mobile apps with you!
Nice to meet you, Ayoub!
Curious about the differences for you between regular SaaS and Micro SaaS.
What are the main distinguishing aspects for you? And how do you decide if something will be a micro or full-fledged product?

Thanks Ayoub for the initiative 🙏 !
I wanna bring the subject about the first stage of launching a sass product.
- Can we launch it before or after completing the MVP and add features alongside collecting user feedbacks about the experience ?
- Should we charge the subscription of beta users to acquire more qualitive feedback or launch it completely free first and enable payment later ?
I really appreciate your willingness to share with the community 😊 !
@el_mehdi_boumhicha Exactly, mvp serve to get feedback from real product users, and building iteratively and incrementally adding features is the best way to go. for when to launch depending on the product you may decide to launch with a presale before MVP, or with/after an MVP.
- For payment it's also related to the kind of the product, there's no size-fits all, but personally I trust and find it more accurate to receive a feedback from paying user rather than a free one.
