I came up with and created www.pre-logo.com. I had help from friends, for which I am immensely grateful! And tomorrow will be a launch. Before this, I launched Whitespaces +, got featured, and had a great time in the process → www.producthunt.com/products/whitespaces I’m here to answer all your questions on the project: prices, model, details, etc.

What is Pre-Logo? Why do people need one? How much do you charge?

@ty_robb Pre-logo offers readymade visual identities for startups, providing a middle ground between hiring an expensive branding agency and opting for a cheap stock logo. It caters to those who want to skip the lengthy process of building a full-scale branding program, allowing them to start with a ready-to-use visual identity today, fully prepared for future expansion. A portion of the style is pre-made, making it easy to choose instead of imagining how it would look. Our assets boast high quality. Also, Pre-logo ensures a stress-free future. Clients contact us for additional design work based on their pre-logo, especially if they don’t have an in-house designer. We offer two pricing options: $460 for the as-is package and $590 for the customized version. To celebrate our launch, we are currently offering a 50% off promo code. www.producthunt.com/posts/pre-logo

@kirillworks sounds interesting, one of my co-founders is a graphic designer by trade, so we know but have also overcome the pain of early branding. It would be great if you showed some case studies of how much people can save long term. The consequences of not developing your brand i.e. the lack of IP and the cost that comes with it, at what stage of VC funding would they require you to do so? Instagram comes to mind with Mackey Saturday, being called in later would have cost significantly more, it seemed (based on a YouTube video) as though he was called in at the last minute which no doubt would have cost more. It would be nice to know how much your bespoke service is. Also for your intro video, the music is a bit loud vs your voice. I think the biggest issue you may face is does your audience has an idea they may need this and any urgency to purchase it. If your launch doesn't achieve your goals today, two things could be of benefit to you. 1) contact people who are recently funding who have obvious clipart, YC companies from the last batch for example. 2) Figure out how to target small charities or new ones. They are often clueless and are on a tight budget.
