I'm new to PH, is there a niche for nonprofit/social indie makers?

Question

I'm looking through the products categories and don't seem to find topics about social ventures, or maybe I'm not looking in the right place.

I want my startup to be for-purpose and my products to make a positive impact/with a social objective. Would be great to meet like-minded indie makers!

Hey Anton welcome to PH. You should able able to launch your nonprofit product on PH. I've seen and supported plenty of open source projects here.

I don't remember what product categories are offered by PH. Maybe just choose one that's closest.

I’m building a mobile app that lets users discover small/medium sized nonprofits around the world and fund their projects. I add gamification and social features into the mix to make it fun to use and encourage users to engage with other users and with people who work for the nonprofits.

Do you see other nonprofit-related products being launched here? Maybe the “crowdfunding” category is the closest to my product.

It doesn't mean you shouldn't launch here though.
