    I've been launching on PH for some time now, but most of them were a few years back. I'm starting some new products and plan to make some launches over this and the next months. Which tips would you give me? Some items I've already made are - ✅ MVP Ready and usable - ✅ Landing page explaining the product - ✅ Explainer Video - ✅ Documentation for the users (it is a Developer Tool) Some things that are yet to do on my list: - ⚠️ Tutorial posts on how to use the product - ⚠️ Product Backlog and evolution plans - ⚠️ Coupons for discounts at launch Some things I'm not sure I'll do: - ❌ Wait for a minimal user base to share the launch with

    I would advice you to try launching in December. January is the most competitive month, so it will be hard to launch a MVP then. You have option to relaunch after 6 month, so you can launch MVP this month and do a relaunch next year in June.

    Many SaaS founders give away their software for free, hoping to grow faster without charging their customers. While this may be a good sales/marketing strategy later, I strongly recommend charging your customers from the start. Otherwise, you won't know if your customers really value your product and are willing to pay for it later. My advice is: 'Charge your customer to solve their problem' — if they only want to use your product for free, it means the problem is not important enough for them.

    @the_faiza_jamil This is good advice, charging too much from the start can be a big barrier when you have a small audience, but giving away something for free may lead your users to sign up but not proceed after that, if it solves a problem, people will be willing to pay for it. I'm thinking about a freemium model, as it seats between both.

    Define a clear value proposition, build anticipation with teasers, leverage early user feedback, focus on a compelling product demo, and engage with your audience on multiple channels for a successful launch.

    I think also something to keep in mind is that the community of PH has changed. You may have noticed compared to when you launched a few years ago. It’s now it is more focused on social power to at least in the first few hours of your launch before you start hitting the organic visitors. Launch to gain feedback and visibility and go in with a managed expectation for signups and paying users.

    @carolmoh It indeed has changed. PH now feels more like a social media focused on people building products, not just a Launch-oriented website. I'm still getting used to this new community, growing an audience here seems like a nice way to start.

    @nihey yes I was speaking to a founder who has been on here since the beginning and told me how different it was - more of focus on the actual product without the need for a social backing like it is now! Well, now you have one more to add to your audience - so seems like you are on the right track! 😊

    @carolmoh Thank you! You have a new follower too! I plan on being more active on PH in 2024, I've been a long-time lurker and had little time to be active in the community. I'm freeing some time in my calendar for the next year to invest more of it here, so you should see more from me :)
