Don't spend too much time trying to find the perfect platform. Medium, LinkedIn, Wordpress, Webflow and many others are great places to start a blog.
More important is to start getting your blog posts out there.

@sven_radavics That is the biggest road blog. I just need to start!
medium.com is quite nice
@leo_le_roy Any tips on using medium? I have never tried it. Anything I should know
Depends a bit on what kind of blog you're building?
Medium and linkedin have the lowest barrier to entry, but you won't be building SEO organic traffic as much.
@nicolaas_spijker For now I just want to start. And is LinkedIn a good idea?
@abid_unnisa It depends a bit what your niche is.
LinkedIn is great if you main channel of distribution is also LinkedIn. This is mainly because their algorithm boosts posts about blog made on their platform as it's native content. So if you're trying to build an influencer profile on LinkedIn alongside the blog posts it's a good investment.
If you main channel of distribution is not LinkedIn (i.e. mainly Twitter, your own community, Reddit, a newsletter, etc) I'd go with Medium instead.
Forgot to add, I really like Ghost as well and it's useful if you're looking to build on your own channel, they have blog templates and allow you to host it on your own site, definitely useful for smaller/starting blogs: https://ghost.org
@nicolaas_spijker Thats really helpful! thanks a lot
You should definitely check out typestack (typestack.ai). I've been using it for a while now and it's great.

medium, no?
wordpress blog?
@recruiterpm @wild_lips_nft That sounds easy. Will try this. Thanks!
@recruiterpm I found it confusing. Tried it already. Any tips?
@recruiterpm @abid_unnisa its so simple. Hire a wordpress developer on upwork to get it rolling and then ask them to teach you.
@abid_unnisa @wild_lips_nft exactly!!!! This is how its done!
@alex_viks Isn't that a little confusing?
