I'm launching a new social media called mirrorboard.
And I'd like to ask you what would move you to join us to improve this product.
If there are other factors, please reply!

I'd join something where it's more focused on niche communities.

Something very niche, for example community for founders or Product Marketers
@beau_h_hwang yesss haha
I think the only reason I’d use a new social media if I’m related to the community and it’s fun there
mirrorboard
@anliamets Shared niche topics! Just like Product hunt LOL
Thank you so much for sharing
Privacy… why create a new one from scratch when you already have the Fediverse offering privacy in social media? I would open a fediverse instance instead.
Further, if your site is mirrorboard.com, then you should notice something else. You reduce users' privacy a lot by only allowing to create an account with via Google.

I think that a social network without its own audience will not be a good social network, for example, there are groups that do the same thing. And if there are no users there, then stay on social media. Networking alone is not very cool.

A social network cannot exist without people; all content is added by the people who sit there. It's fun to watch, and common themes are needed.

For me to join a new social media platform like mirrorboard, Beau, it would need to offer unique features that significantly enhance user interaction or provide a new way of content sharing that isn't available elsewhere. Privacy and data security policies would also be a key factor in my decision.

@jamin_nanthan Unique feature and privacy policy!

I think it is a kindness which is very scarce theses days.

For me, Beau, a new social media platform needs to offer unique features that enhance user interaction and provide robust privacy controls. I'm curious about what sets mirrorboard apart and how it plans to enrich the social media landscape!

I think we have enough social media for now. I would be more interested to see on the market more services which can write my paper for me, like those guys https://domypaper.com/ . Those services actually help students and not only, get through some difficult times.

@alex_ivanovski That's still so true

A strong, supportive community or a platform that caters to a specific niche or interest can attract users who are passionate about that subject.

@dennis_harris1 May I ask your niche interests?

Beau, a new social media platform would draw me in with a strong privacy policy and unique features that enhance user interaction without overwhelming them with ads. If mirrorboard can offer a fresh, user-centric experience, I'm interested!

While it's true that many people do use social media to follow and get information about their favorite celebrities like Babytron . it's not the sole purpose of social media for everyone. Social media platforms serve a variety of purposes for different individuals, including connecting with friends and family, staying updated on news and current events, networking professionally, sharing personal interests and hobbies, and much more.
That said, social media does provide a convenient platform for celebrities to interact with their fans, share updates about their lives and work, and promote their projects. This direct interaction can help fans feel more connected to their favorite celebrities and give them insights into their personalities beyond what they see in traditional media. Additionally, social media allows fans to engage with each other and create communities based on shared interests in particular celebrities or entertainment genres.
