If I could give one tip to someone trying to break into the tech industry, it would be to build a strong network of connections and relationships. The tech industry is highly competitive, and having a network of connections can provide valuable opportunities and insights, as well as access to job openings, mentorship, and support. Building a network can take time and effort, but it is a crucial step in establishing a successful career in tech. This can involve attending events and conferences, joining professional organizations and groups, and actively reaching out and connecting with other professionals in the field. By building a strong network, you can gain a better understanding of the industry and its trends, and position yourself for success in your career.

@maxprilutskiy Thanks for the tip. I hadn't thought of attending events and conferences. I'll have to look into some in my area, or at the very least, online webinars.

When an opportunity comes your way, go the extra mile to prove yourself. And soft skills are just as important as knowledge. It’s about gaining trust and building relationships. Having worked with you for a while, I know you have a bright career in tech ahead of you. 🙌

building a network is great tip 👍 Another tip is to be consistent. Show up every day, practice for a while and build yourself a portfolio you can present :)

@hayerhans I'm finding networking much more authentic online. It's just easier to balance than some kind of "water cooler" talk.
