You should have heard that Gmail and Yahoo are implementing critical email security initiatives in February. And I'm pretty sure that your project may send outgoing emails.
The most important thing I mentioned for myself is that now the unsubscribe URL must be one-click. You have to make it easy for subscribers to opt out of marketing emails. Another important thing I mentioned to myself, is sending emails using bulk sending wisely.
📧 I collected the most important moments in my LinkedIn Newsletter ( 🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/important-changes-email-senders-my-favourite-tools-i-use-vorona-omehe ) + shared my 7 favourite tools I use when I work with emails.
Also, available on my Medium blog post ( 🔗https://medium.com/@bohdan-v/important-changes-for-email-senders-my-favourite-tools-i-use-working-with-emails-43bfdb062193 ).

Here's a really nice article from Steve Atkins with succinct guidance on one-click unsubscribe compliance: https://wordtothewise.com/2024/0...
The same company offers a tool called "About My Email" where you can test and check if your configuration is compliant with Gmail and Yahoo's new requirements. Marcel Becker (spokesperson for Yahoo) has personally mentioned "if aboutmy.email says you are compliant, you are compliant. Also please do read Steve’s latest blog post again. It’s very helpful." https://wordtothewise.com/2024/0...
