@faisal_ishaq1 So is it something like an HR management tool? Feel free to share link as well.
@busmark_w_nika I wouldn't call it an HR Management tool as an HRMS entails a whole bunch of activities. This product targets and automates a core functionality/problem within the hiring process i.e. headhunting.
Will be sharing the product link very soon! Glad to see an interest though!
@faisal_ishaq1 similar to us, but we are more in the hiring https://www.clous.app/
@pabloroigburgui I'll check out Clous right away. Looks interesting. I'm also working on an ATS, however, that's a long term project.
Would love to have a call with you sometime.

@luka_brzin You hit the pain point! People are more likely to read messages than regular notifications on the screen. Because the messages are perceived as something special/private.
Your product sounds like it solves a real pain point for workers. When do you launch?
@busmark_w_nika Thank you for your reply. Yes, that is something we have been deciding on for quite a while. Procrastination is a real pain point in todays world of distractions. Not only at work but in personal life as well.

The entire process of discovering, learning about, and funding nonprofit organizations so that they can fix issues in the world and let you know about it.
If you like it, I'd love your support! Launching this week :) It's called Wingtap
minimalist phone: creating folders
@kitanirjv That sounds a bit different than what can we see there on PH. Not many people take care of nonprofits. What is the monetization model?
@busmark_w_nika Yes it's quite different, so I'm really wondering how it will go down with the community on here. If I may ask you, just think if everyone of us gave say 5 or 10$ a week, to support a project (build a school, cover surgery costs, plant a forest), can you imagine the impact after a year? 2 years? I think the world will be quite different, and I really hope PH people are just regular people too :)
Monetization: there are many ways to go about it really. At the moment to support or maintenance costs and development costs (as many may know here an app can be real expensive), Wingtap will take 3.8% of the donations made. Later on, we want to switch to a 0 fee platform through partnerships but that's another story.
minimalist phone: creating folders
@kitanirjv Interesting idea. TBH, monetization in the nonprofit sector is really hard cause I personally experienced a situation when people wanted to support some nonprofit, they did it directly without any provider. Do you handle this somehow?
@busmark_w_nika Your point embodies exactly what we are addressing.
First, you mention support "some nonprofit", that's huge, there are 10 million of them, and the only ones people know are red cross, greenpeace a couple others and the one they randomly found one day. Most people don't give because they don't know about the cause or who to give to and they won't spend time searching (I'm one of them too).
Second, they prefer to support "directly", if by directly you mean donate on the website then that button you click that says "donate" is made by a third party that takes unbelievable fees (we are talking up to if not more than 10% fee per transaction, for that donate button). Not to mention how much the website costs. When you give money directly in the street, a significant percentage goes to the person collecting the money. Unless you make a bank wire transfer, your fees will be high.
Third, most people don't read the long thank you or update emails. And the donation is often general, so you'll learn later if you take the time to open your email what you contributed to. And that's a shame, because they do amazing things. But ultimately it's hard to establish a true relationship.
Among other things, this is what we are addressing. And yes monetization is tough, but if the service you provide is good, easy, simple, fast, I believe a 3.8% fee is acceptable and users can get onboard to support. We're not making any money off of it anyway, but this keeps us afloat and helps us get more projects to fund and grow.
Let me know what you think, I'm curious :)
minimalist phone: creating folders
@kitanirjv I am pretty curious about that. Because I haven't handled this nonprofit thing and would like to see somebody who knows how to do it! :)
