IMO, customer acquisition still is the toughest task.
"Over the last few years, product-led growth has received a lot of attention," to be sure. Product-led growth and growth hacking appear to be everywhere these days, almost to the point of becoming buzzwords.
I was wondering how you would define PLG. And it's most likely just a b2b saas thing, right?
You also mentioned that PLG isn't the best market entry strategy for you. Could you explain why this is so?
thanks!
Customer conversion / acquisition is definitely the hardest battle. The others don't really come into play if you can't overcome the first.
Retention is key driver in PLG as it validates the business need
Customer acquisition and above all, the right customer conversion that can ease the retention.
Always go product-first, never sales-first, marketing-first, or founder-first. The product itself has the power to make or break you. Some established companies pay millions of dollars each year just to maintain their inefficiencies - because they are not product led. The main issue with marketing, sales, or founders (top-down approaches) is that they tend to build features based on what they believe is required. For example, a sales team may promise features to attract clients, resulting in a Frankenstein product after a few feature requests. To make these difficult decisions and actually drive the product forward, product teams require leadership and authority.
Customer Conversions is the biggest challenge in my eyes...Financial planning firm Money Accounts will assist you with all your investment planning.
In this era where competition is 10x in every business customer conversion is a big ask for every business
In SaaS competitive landscape, customer retention can be challenging.
