Include calendly links in sales outreach: YAY or Nay?

Inspired by @nuvo's answer on a previous discussion: > What we see on our sales side is, that a lot of people especially in Germany still do not want to click on a link to schedule a meeting. [...] Therefore, in outbound we often do not send a calendly link anymore but instead just propose some time slots or ask the client to propose 2-3 time slots :). See comment: https://cards.producthunt.com/cards/comments/1881111?v=1 -- Now, I would like to get some quantitative data on this 🧑‍🔬 I'm personally unsure how much I can integrate Calendly in my scheduling flows. E.g.: - Yay. Using Calendly in a typeform to make it easier for people to talk to me if they have a request - Nay. Avoiding Calendly when talking to investors (avoid power move) OR when doing candidate interviews (not a great candidate experience IMHO) What do you think?

I always avoid sending Calendly links when I want something from somebody. I feel like it's kind of rude, similar to sending voice messages on WhatsApp

I know some people don't like it, but I personally prefer a calendly link over other options when someone reaches out. Easy, simple and I can see what time works best for me instead of rearranging my schedule for something. When it comes to prospects, I've heard from multiple people that it has a negative effect on the response rate. The only time I use it is when I'm communicating with someone who is in a completely different time zone and I can't figure it out based on the information I have. (Location on LinkedIn one place, company based in another, currently studying in a third location)

@sandra_idjoski unknown timezone is actually where calendly shines. No calculation of time zones necessary and especially it reduces rescheduling.
