Increasing user engagement for a social network dedicated (aspiring) entrepreneurs/startups.

After a few months building and testing, it is now time to drive traffic and user engagement for my social media platform (https://ideaness.org/) dedicated to (aspiring) founders. I am no digital marketing expert with a very low marketing budget. So I got an idea (that I may apply or not): Over the next 5 weeks, I will give away 1% of equity share per week to the most active weekly member on the platform. Here is how it will work concretely: The users will get points for: - Daily visits - Relevant posts - Relevant comments - Likes/upvotes The scores will be displayed in a leaderboard on top of the platform. At the start of the contest the points of the current members will be reset to 0. In case of equality, there will be a poll where the members elect the winner. There is a log per user to keep track of the actions that generated the points. How will I avoid spammed content?: - I have a moderation tool that will alert me in case some words are used in a post/comment. - Other users can report unrelevant comments. - As an administrator I can delete unrelevant posts/comments/likes as well as the corresponding points. - I restricted the number of posts/comments/likes per day to a reasonable level. What do you guys think?
