Do you ever find yourself wanting to quickly present photos from your phone on a friend's TV, PC or tablet without sending the photos? Like when traveling, visiting family, or at work? How much would you be willing to pay to solve this pain point? Would $2 be too expensive for an app that instantly casts your phone's photos to bigger screens over WiFi, keeping them local with no uploads to the cloud required and no registration?

So, photodj.me seems to be a more flexible and versatile option compared to Airplay, especially when it comes to compatibility with different devices and platforms. With photodj.me, you don't need to worry about whether or not your TV or other devices support Airplay, and you can even use it to present photos from your phone on other phones or tablets. Additionally, it sounds like photodj.me is a simpler, more streamlined process compared to Airplay. No registration required and you can start presenting your photos in just a few steps. So in terms of convenience and ease of use, it seems like photodj.me has some clear advantages over Airplay! Have you tried using photodj.me before?

If it's much better than what I can do with Airplay, yeah!

@entreeden Also, you can predefine a presentation (album), so you'll need to just select the album instead of selecting the photos each time you want to present them. And, of course, everything is stored locally, with no account or uploading to the cloud involved.

@entreeden Instructions on how to use AirPlay: To use AirPlay to show photos from your mobile phone on a TV, follow these general steps: 1. **Ensure Compatibility:** - Make sure your TV supports AirPlay. Many modern smart TVs have this feature built-in. 2. **Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network:** - Ensure that your mobile phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. 3. **Enable AirPlay on TV:** - On your TV, access the settings menu and look for an option related to AirPlay or screen mirroring. Enable it. 4. **Enable AirPlay on Mobile Phone:** - On your iPhone or iPad, open the Control Center by swiping down (or up, depending on the device) from the top-right corner of the screen. - Tap on the "Screen Mirroring" or "AirPlay" icon. 5. **Select Your TV:** - A list of available devices will appear. Select your TV from the list. 6. **Enter Code (if prompted):** - Some TVs may display a code that you need to enter on your mobile device to establish the connection. 7. **Mirror or Stream Photos:** - Once connected, you can choose to mirror your entire screen or select specific content to AirPlay, such as photos or videos. 8. **Open Photos App:** - Open the Photos app on your mobile phone. 9. **Select Photos:** - Choose the photos you want to display on your TV. 10. **Enjoy:** - Your selected photos should now be displayed on your TV using AirPlay. Keep in mind that the steps might vary slightly depending on the make and model of your TV and the version of your mobile device's operating system.
