Is Google Hitting Your Online Ranking after recent update?

In digital marketing, i noticed that many webmasters are saying that he was receiving good traffics but after Google update ranking and traffic decrease dramatically. My one website also affected after update but others are fine. Anyone notice here same ... if yes then how you recover or plan to recover ranking and traffic again?
