Is it just me or is it getting harder to get featured on PH? 😅

Some recent observations: - I searched the community for "featured" and from the findings it seems like PH is curating the featured section manually. - It seems PH started restricting it to very few featured launches. Seems like they cut it in half recently. - And it seems they curate is based on coming soon page and how many notify signups it has, and also how well the pitch looks in your launch page. As well as newsworthiness and differentiation from previously launched products. - I think they have to enforce it like this, because there is just an increasing amount of products being launched. As well as organised vote rings voting products that don't really meet the criteria they have set. What's your thoughts on this?

I've never found it easy to get featured

@sylvia_sheng I think the focus now is to show your product from its best side. BE very clear about what differentiates it from other products. What innovation does it bring. And make it very clear in the launch material.

I am seeing in each week products having issues and not getting featured. Not sure what is the exact reason. Even if its a reason ( curating it manually ) as you mentioned ,i think they would mention it within PH Launch guides. but havent found anything like that. So cant be so sure if this is the case.

@istiakahmad I think they are just testing the waters atm. Before committing to the change and writing it up in FAQ. But they have to do something to stem the vote rings and bot votes. A PH friend of mine recently got 100 messages offering payed upvotes 😅

They stopped featuring some products at all (during the launch day, not only the first 4 hours). Yes?

@olenabomko Correct. Only 10 or so products gets on the front page now. Upvotes doesn't automatically push you into the featured section. Seems to have been a recent change. It kind of makes sense. The influx of new products is immense at the moment.
