Is Reddit dying and where are the users going?

Early on, we found that Reddit was the number one place for us to create a community around our product and learn about our potential users. It was amazing. But then things changed with Reddit's restrictions on their API. It's been months since that happened, and Reddit still feels like a ghost town for our focus compared to before.
Not sure where people are migrating to, some specific forums seemed to get more traction, and new things popped up on Discord, but nothing with the same amount of activity as the subreddits.
Does anyone else have a similar experience?

@maria_hagsten Thanks! That sounds amazing, and we're working on a CSV importer right now that will work with that. And that also lets you export in the same format. I'll ping you when it's shipped.
What would you say are the most important things you're mapping? very curious about the structure you have in place 👀 (feel free to ignore if you'd rather not share info about it)

@stelofo Lol, export would be my next question. I've been burned in the past by apps that I either migrated away from or that were taken off the market without an export feature. So for me that has become a must for anything I add data into. It's super exciting that you're adding both import and export.
Here's what I'm mapping: 1) title, 2) author, 3) status (in progress, read, paused, given up, etc.), 4) medium (physical book, ebook, audio), 11) reading reason (want, should, must, it was there), 6) page count, 7) start date, 8) finish date, 9) rating (0-5 stars), 10) short summary, 11) takeaways/learnings, 12) my reading notes.
For the reading notes, I also include images like photos of pages in physical books or screenshots from ebooks.

I also found this: Reddit used to be a hub for many communities, including those centered around various products. It's unfortunate that the restrictions on their API. I think more and more people come to the twitter, it is a new choice for people to post something!
