Is SEO still relevant? And does it make sense via a blog?

We are a SaaS start-up in the design space. Keywords are highly competitive and we are wondering whether SEO via a blog still makes sense or if there are better paths to be focused on.
Looking forward hearing your thoughts!

SEO is 100% relevant 👌
Optimize your product/feature pages for high-intent keywords and use your blog for long-tail keywords that will drive traffic to your site.
Of course, yes, now some projects receive 70-80% traffic from organic search and this will be relevant for a very long time. You can find a good agency from the list https://superbcompanies.com/cate... and ask them clearer questions, request consulting
The strategies are changing, but it's a very important inbound channel.
PLEASEEE YES! Till the time there is a search engine existing, SEO will very much be relevant. You may have to keep improving your SEO strategy with a different algorithm, increasing competition, and so on- that is a different story.
Your current SEO "strategy" may be irrelevant but SEO is!
Oh, and yes, I missed the second part of your question.
Blogs are a great way to make your website search engine optimized because these blogs give you a large canvas to incorporate a lot of keywords, and pictures, and keep your content up to date to attract traffic.
@vanshika_chaturvedi thank you! Do you have an opinion on back-linking in existing articles vs. writing an own blog. Any preferred or do they go hand in hand?
Yup, it definitely is. SEO is very important for ranking on google, the blog might take some time to rank but anyhow you have to work on it.
@vaibhav_taneja thanks for the reply. Any other ideas to improve SEO besides a blog?

@zeeshan121 thanks for the heads up. How would you rank the importance of an own blog in this context?
A well-maintained blog provides your site with a steady stream of brand new, original, quality content. Over time, as readers and search engines discover that content, you'll begin to be recognized as a reliable source of information, which will help you rank higher.
First step - blog, content marketing
Second step - commercial pages (services, industries) - most clients will converse exactly through those types of pages
@john_stinson1 thanks a lot for taking the time to answer. Makes a lot of sense. I guess start the blog early as it will be a long shot to see results anyway.
@jan_beisheim Any time!) Advice - make keyword research and find topics related to your buyer persona, the only way to convert visitors to potential customers. Easiest way on the beginning - parse your competitors blog and write the same articles, but better
if you are talking about website marketing, YES. more than before.
@jan_beisheim Both have their own importance and benefits. I'd say invest time in both side by side, instead of going for just one option. I hope this helps!
If the content has value and not just keywords, very much alive.
The question is whether Google is relevant? If the answer is "yes", then seo is relevant, because there is not much point in having content if it is not promoted and visible on the internet.
